```Jon Bellion Red Rocks Amphitheatre Concert reviews
Great venue and concert, disturbing Security theater
1. Shirley and Jon Bellion sounded great, the area around our seats wasn't crowded, and it was a beautiful night. No complaints about any of that!
2. My buddy and I trekked out to Concord all the way from SF for this concert and it took 4 hours!
3. The security process for getting into the venue was very upsetting, however. Many women were turned away because they had fanny packs or very small purses that weren't allowed.
4. Apparently only clear fanny packs and clear small purses were allowed, but this was not clearly communicated anywhere.
5. After I made it through the metal detector, a high and mighty security guard stopped me from proceeding because I had a fanny pack.
6. Yet, my friend's clear fanny pack was twice the size, could have easily concealed my fanny pack or a gun, yet she was able to bring hers in.
7. My friend loudly criticized the sexist outcomes of this security policy - only women were being turned away.
8. Fast forward to the end of the night at which point I was greeted by a group of girls upon my exit of the venue, girls who informed me the security guards had taken all the purses and fanny packs left behind and put them in a trash bag filled with water, booze, and empty bottles and cans.
9. OK I learned my lesson the hard way! It is truly unfortunate that I am a dumbass who left her fanny pack out in the open, but I think it's shameful the way the security guards enforced the policy at this venue.
